Guests playing roulette at Glenfall house

WOW! What a wonderful wedding at the glorious Glenfall house. It was our first time at this stunning venue in the Cotswolds and we were blown away by its beauty. The 18th century Manor house has a breath-taking 4 acres of stunning grounds, and views over the Cotswold Hills.

We arrived at the venue at 6.30pm in the sunshine, ready to set up our fun casino roulette and blackjack table. We caught a glimpse of the bride and groom on our way in, and they looked absolutely stunning. we were directed to take the casino tables to 'The Glen' reception room. The inside of the house was as impressive as the outside. Our room had lovely big doors set in a large bay that looked out over the gardens and was the perfect spot to see the sun set.

Once the fun casino was set up and ready to go, we had plenty of time to have some refreshments and take in all of the beautiful surroundings. A small Prosecco in the garden reflecting on how lucky we are to go to these amazing places and to be a part of a Bride and Groom's big day is a great way to start our evening's work.

The fun casino was open from 8pm and the guests started to make their way in, with their personalised fun money in hand, ready to try their luck. A bottle of Champagne and a box of chocolates were the prizes for the night's biggest winners. We had lots of first time casino players and a few experienced ones too. Everyone was very quick to learn the rules and plenty of fun was being had straight away. Both the roulette table and the blackjack table were very popular with the guests all evening and we had lots of fun dealing to them. We had some very daring players placing all of their chips, going for big returns and it paid off for the lucky champagne winner. The box of chocolates went to our youngest player of the evening, who was a demon on the roulette table, playing red and black. Before we knew it our 3 hours were up and it was time to let the party continue on the dance floor. We had an amazing time and we were given a wonderful review. Congratulations and thank you so much to the Bride and Groom Mr & Mrs M.

Kane Woodington

On Friday 26th July 2019 we took our fun casino tables to a charity fundraiser to help raise funds for Harefield hospital in memory of Kane woodington, a local lad from Bristol.

"In 2016 Kane was diagnosed with restricted cardiomyopathy and pulmonary hypertension. As a result he was referred to Harefield Hospital where he received treatment. He then underwent a heart and lung transplant in January 2018. He made an outstanding recovery and was home within two and a half weeks. He then went on to return to work, college and spent most of his time socialising with his friends. Sadly, he was taken ill and lost his fight on the 6th of December 2018."

The Charity ball was organised by Kane's parents, and was held at Brislington football club in Bristol. A huge marquee was set up to accommodate an impressive 400 guests. The marquee looked absolutely fabulous and was kitted out in a purple and black colour scheme with crisp white linens on large round banquet tables. We were all treated to the most mouth watering hog roasts and drinks were kept flowing by the wonderful bar staff who worked their socks off.

The evening was packed with entertainment, brilliant music was provided by Keith Flower and band, followed by Lyndon Bharath Dj who both kept the dance floor lively all night and a very popular photo booth by Brizzle Booths.

Our casino tables were busily buzzing all night. We had roulette, blackjack and 3 card poker tables on the go, and some very good players kept us on our toes and we had really good fun with them all. We had 4 casino prize winners of a bottle of champagne, a signed Bath rugby shirt, a signed Bristol bears rugby shirt, and a box of chocs.

An extraordinary raffle and auction took place with out of this world stuff up for grabs including a Tyson Fury signed boxing glove, Brand new 2019 hot tub, 3 night log cabin stay, Balloon ride for 2, signed albert square plaque and a Real Madrid Gareth Bale signed shirt to name but a few.

Over £16,000 was raised on the night by the family and friends of Kane, and the amount of love for him in that marquee was enormous. We feel extremely privileged and proud to have been part of the evening. Thank you so much for having us.

Beautiful staircase at Leigh Court

Our wedding fayre outing today was at the outstandingly beautiful and romantic venue of Leigh Court.

Leigh court is a wonderful wedding venue that can be found on the outskirts of Bristol at Leigh Court Business Centre, Pill Rd, Abbots Leigh, Bristol BS8 3RA. It's a grade 11 listed building that dates back to the early 1800's

The first thing you notice on entering this grand building is the magnificent double staircase in the great hall, lit by the incredible glass ceiling. It really is a spectacular space that few venues can rival. A photographer's delight I would imagine. I can picture the bride and groom descending opposing staircases towards their eagerly awaiting guests, to their special song....

We arrived early to set out our fun casino equipment in the library room. Another lovely room with multiple floor to ceiling windows. Although it only takes approximately 15 minutes per table, we like to give ourselves enough time to have a good look around these stunning buildings and have a catch up with fellow suppliers that we have met before and to see what wonderful things are on offer from the ones we haven't met before. It also gives us the opportunity to imagine ourselves in another life, living in these grand mansion houses. An easy task with the vintage wedding cars parked outside, the beautiful wedding dresses on display, an abundance of floral arrangements and grand wedding cake designs extravagant enough to make anyone forget about the real world for a moment.

We were blessed with fabulous weather, making it a great day for any outdoor event suppliers, that included inflatable games and a fabulous live band. We both managed to take a quick break for a Pimms on the lawn, afterall you have to make the most of all opportunities to live the good life.

We met lovely couples and their families, and filled a few places in our calendar for wedding fun casinos. We also made a christmas booking which was a very pleasant surprise!

If you would like to book a fun casino for your event, get in touch for some great prices.
